About me
Welcome to Ride-Share. This project is currently being developed and built by a single person.
Who I am
I'm Raphael, the founder and developer of Ride-Share. My goal is to bring people together simply and safely, so that rides can be shared and resources used more efficiently.
How Ride-Share works
Drivers offer free seats on trips they are making anyway; passengers book their seat online and pay for it directly with TWINT or card. The platform suggests a price based on distance and does not accept prices above the cost of the car – so a shared ride stays private cost sharing. After the ride, drivers receive their share: 95% of the fare with a Stripe payout, 85% via TWINT or 80% by bank transfer.
For all of Switzerland
Ride-Share is available in German, French, Italian and English, and all prices are in Swiss francs. The search finds rides between any places in Switzerland; popular routes such as Bern – Zurich or Geneva – Lausanne have their own page with distance, driving time and price per seat.

Vision
I want to build a platform that is practical for everyday use, transparent and fair. In the first phase, I'm focusing on the most important features and stable operation.
